BSc Diagnostic Ultrasound students had a ball at their recent team building event, which was held at the stadium on the Bellville campus.
The students were divided into four teams who went head to head in a softball competition.
“The main purpose of the event was to create coherence amongst students, promote teamwork and improve interpersonal, social and communication skills. The BSc Ultrasound students from different levels work with each other and patients in various clinical departments in the private and government sectors,” said lecturer and event organiser, Merlisa Kemp.
The winning team was the first year students while the fourth year class followed in second place.
The event was sponsored by AXIM (Africa XRay Industrial and Medical) who was represented by Gizelle Erasmus. The sound for the event was sponsored by Claude Plaatjes.
