The Bellville Campus was abuzz recently when the province’s future rugby stars showed off their skills during the Western Province Rugby Football Union (WPRFU) Mini Rugby Day.
More than 2 000 young players braved the cold and rain to participate in the event, which was also attended by some of the DHL Western Province Stars.
The WPRFU also provided training to 40 CPUT Sports Management students to assist at this event.
“The event really showed what development is all about and gave CPUT the opportunity to showcase our sport facilities,” said Cathy Cloete, public relations and events coordinator at CPUT.
