CPUT Health Clinics recently hosted an informative Women’s Health Awareness event for staff and students.
The aim was to inform, equip and empower women at CPUT about potential health risks.
A general practitioner, Dr Zaitoon Valley, delivered a talk while the Cancer Association of SA provided information aimed at empowering and supporting women diagnosed with cancer.
The event followed shortly after a successful holistic wellness event, organised by CPUT Health Clinic District Six.
The aim of this event was to build networks between CPUT Health Clinics, the Department of Health, Health Organisations and the Department of Student Affairs, said Viwe Melamane Hlabahlaba from the D6 Health Clinic.
