A seasoned media professional has been appointed as CPUT’s new web editor.
Sherise Dreyer took up the position in December and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the website, which includes uploading new content and updating existing content.
She has extensive experience in marketing, media and social media and has worked for a diverse range of companies.
Dreyer was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, also known as brittle bone disease, but this hasn’t stopped her from taking on a challenge.
She writes and performs poetry, is a public speaker and was a blogger for one of South Africa’s biggest magazines.
Dreyer said requests for new content on the website can be sent to her via email.
“It is important that the request contains the URL of the page where changes need to be made and that clear instructions of what needs to be done are provided,” she said.
