The new CPUT website homepage (www.cput.ac.za) has loads of space for advertising University projects.
We added this ad space after realising that we needed to profile the various wonderful activities around all levels of the institution.
The advertising space on the homepage
Type of ad: Big Banner (1)
In the image above, the landscape banner labelled ‘1’ is for very urgent/important attention grabbing ads. You can provide us with a professional banner of size:
Width: 960px
Height: 250px
Captioning:
Captioning is done on the blue box you will see with text. Align your caption to the same style, i.e: one heading with max 20 characters and one short description of no more than 250 characters.
Type of ad: Small Banner (2)
In the image above, the landscape banner labelled ‘2’ is for simple ads that can stay longer than the big banners. You can provide us with a professional banner of size:
Width: 300px
Height: 180px
Captioning:
Is done on the banner using a font called ErasITC Light (get more info on it here). The font size is relative to the complexity of the banner.
Type of ad: text (3)
Ads without graphics can be advertised on the ‘Featured websites’ list.
