Hooray! Hooray! It’s off to Joomla Day.

Registration is now open for Joomla!Day Cape Town, South Africa 17-18 August 2012

Joomla Day is taking place this Friday and Saturday at the Pavilion Conference Centre in the V & A Waterfront. Woohoo!

As a department we’re preeetty excited, as there will be a focus on mobile app development at some stage during the event and we’re super keen on developing in that area.

Let me add that the Joomla-nizers (Joomla Day organizers) have made life simpler for us by splitting the talks into 4 categories so that the techies and business owners do not start a turf-war, bless their hearts:  Joomla (which I assume is general Joomla stuff), Case Studies, Business/Marketing and also, Development (aaah, familiarity).

 So in an attempt to not regurgitate the information contained on the www.joomlday.org.za site, let me just say that with the topics of discussion lined up, the stunningly scenic venue and the new approach to a categorized programme list, I can’t wait to see what the Joomla-nizers have in-store for us. 

Oh! and the gift bags. How the heck can we forget the gift bags!?!  😀
