Visitors attending the Somatology Department’s recent Open Day were treated to a tour of the department’s state of the art facilities.
Pupils, teachers and parents were given the opportunity to engage with students and academic staff members at the Wellness Clinic on the District Six Campus.
The students also gave demonstrations of the various treatments on offer at the clinic and information brochures were provided to the visitors.
“We did a lot of planning for the event and we’re happy that it was very successful. We would like to thank all the schools for coming out and showing their support and we appreciate all the effort that our students and staff members put in,” said Lecturer & Work Integrated Learning Coordinator, Moeneebah Ismail.
The clinic is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
